Misha Govshteyn is a seasoned technology executive and entrepreneur with a track record of scaling disruptive platforms in cloud security and digital manufacturing. He most recently led the next wave of disruption in the $560B electronics manufacturing industry as CEO and Board Member at MacroFab. Under his leadership, MacroFab built a digital platform that allows customers to consume manufacturing as a cloud resource with instant price quotes and online supply chain tools, while enabling factory partners across North America to fully subscribe their capacity and eliminate idle time.
Currently, he is co-founding an early-stage company building the operating layer for AI-native organizations, where agents track the most impactful work against goals and help people make the calls about what matters most.
Prior to MacroFab, Misha co-founded Alert Logic, a former Updata Partners portfolio company. During his tenure, he served in several key leadership roles including Founding CEO, CTO, Chief Strategy Officer, and SVP of Product and Marketing. He built Alert Logic into one of the fastest-growing companies in the security industry, driving a strategic pivot to become an early cloud security pioneer with hundreds of customers in AWS, Azure, and GCP. He successfully led the company through multiple rounds of capital, spearheaded three technology acquisitions to expand the product portfolio, and scaled the business to over 4,000 customers, $120M+ in revenue, and 650 employees before its successful acquisition by Welsh, Carson, Anderson & Stowe in 2013.
An active contributor to the startup ecosystem, he has spent years mentoring early-stage companies through the Techstars network and venture funds.
Misha resides in Houston, Texas. Outside of his professional endeavors, he enjoys live-fire cooking and growing his vast collection of vintage audio equipment.
