Updata Partners is excited to announce the promotion of four team members: Mary Hampton McNeal to Vice President, Ryan Bernard to Senior Associate, and Konstantinos Bailas and Neal Singal to Senior Analyst.
Mary Hampton McNeal has been promoted to Vice President. Joining Updata as an Associate in 2021, Mary Hampton has consistently demonstrated her investment acumen and dedication to the firm. Previously, she worked as an investment banker at Evercore. Mary Hampton holds a B.S. in Accounting and Business Administration from Washington & Lee University, where she was a member of the women’s tennis team. At Updata, she has worked with companies such as CData, Benivo, FusionAuth, Interactions, Liongard, and Piano. Most recently, she played a pivotal role in closing three new investments, totaling $94 million in capital deployed.
Ryan Bernard has been promoted to Senior Associate. Ryan joined Updata in 2021 as an Associate. Previously, he worked on the Payment Strategy team at Bank of America, focusing on emerging payments and partnerships. He holds a B.B.A. in Accounting and Information Technology from Hofstra University and an M.B.A. from the University of Michigan Ross School of Business. Ryan is also a licensed Certified Public Accountant in New York.
Konstantinos Bailas has been promoted to Senior Analyst. Konstantinos joined Updata in 2023 as an Analyst and previously worked at Global Founders Capital in Germany. He holds a B.S. in Computer Science and Mathematics from Duke University.
Neal Singal has been promoted to Senior Analyst. Neal joined Updata in 2023 as an Analyst, having previously co-founded Global Pal, a startup focused on digitizing restaurant ordering and payment processing. He holds a BSBA in Operations & Analytics and Management from Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business.
