Updata Partners Announces Promotion of Braden Snyder

Updata Partners is pleased to announce the promotion of Braden Snyder to General Partner.

Since joining Updata as an Associate in 2014, Braden has developed into an accomplished investor and leader. His tireless work ethic and ability to connect with management teams has enabled him to perform at the highest level. At the same time, his analytical approach and sound judgement have contributed to the growth of our sourcing efforts and to several notable investments.

Today, Braden works with Adthena, Benivo, ContactMonkey, LandTech, Living Security, and Shufti. Previous portfolio efforts include Bridge2 Solutions (sold, ICE (NYSE)), Glassbox (IPO), Homesnap (sold, CoStar), Mashable (sold, Ziff Davis), Netwrix (recapitalized, TA Associates / Centerbridge), and PulsePoint (sold, Internet Brands/WebMD). In the last 18 months, Braden led new investments totaling over $100 million of invested capital and helped exit companies worth over $2 billion of enterprise value.

Braden was recently named one of GrowthCap’s Top 40 Under 40 Growth Investors of 2024. This honor underscores Braden’s position as a leader in growth equity and reflects his dedication to driving value for portfolio companies and limited partners.

“We are thrilled that Braden is now a GP,” said Carter Griffin, General Partner. “From driving new investments to supporting portfolio companies to achieving successful exits, Braden has been instrumental to our growth over the last decade. We are excited to see his continued contributions as a GP.”

“Braden’s strategic approach and relentless dedication make him an invaluable asset to our team and to the leaders of our portfolio companies,” added Jon Seeber, General Partner.

Updata Partners is committed to backing management teams with exceptional potential, providing them with the capital, expertise, and strategic support they need to build category-leading businesses.
