Braden joined Updata as an Associate in 2014 and has progressed through the firm since that time, most recently serving as a Principal. Prior to joining Updata, Braden was an Associate at Sagent Advisors, where he provided M&A and other financial advisory services to clients. Braden is a graduate of University of Virginia’s McIntire School of Commerce, receiving a B.S. in Commerce with Concentrations in Finance and Accounting.
At Updata, Braden has worked with Mashable (sold to Ziff Davis), PulsePoint (sold to Internet Brands and WebMD), Bridge2 Solutions (sold to ICE), Netwrix (recapitalized with TA Associates), Homesnap (sold to CoStar), Glassbox (IPO), Adthena, Living Security, Vector Remote Care, and LandTech. In the last twelve months, Braden made significant contributions to closing three new investments, representing over $75 million of capital deployed.
