Updata Partners VIII Invests in Hi Rasmus

We are pleased to announce that Updata Partners VIII has invested $50 million in Hi Rasmus, a purpose-built clinical operations platform for Applied Behavior Analysis (“ABA”) and multi-disciplinary therapy providers.

ABA is an evidence-based therapy that supports children and families navigating autism and other developmental and behavioral needs. ABA is unusual among clinical disciplines: every session, behavior target, and progress note is both the means by which clinicians deliver care and also the clinical record required for payer reimbursement. Yet most ABA providers run their clinical workflow on generic practice-management systems built for billing rather than point of care. The result is inconsistent care quality, an administrative burden that falls on clinicians, and greater difficulty demonstrating the outcomes payers increasingly demand.

Hi Rasmus exists to solve this problem. The platform unifies session data capture, treatment planning, clinical documentation, and outcomes reporting in a single solution built for ABA clinicians, and it has become the system of record that ABA therapists live in every day. Supervisors gain real-time visibility into caseload, documentation quality, and clinical outcomes across locations and clinicians. Today, Hi Rasmus serves more than 1,000 clinics and schools across all 50 U.S. states and 90 countries, all in service of the Company’s mission to positively impact one million children and families navigating autism.

Hi Rasmus has grown rapidly and profitably as a bootstrapped business, with best-in-class retention and unit economics. We look forward to partnering with the team to scale go-to-market, invest further in product innovation including AI, and support a growing number of enterprise customers.

The Company’s mission began with Founder and CEO Nikolaj Hendriksen’s personal story, and we are excited to partner with Nikolaj and a team that has deep clinical and domain expertise to scale that mission to a million children and families.

Updata will be represented on the Company’s board by General Partner Braden Snyder.
